The Helfrich Family |

|
The goal of this site will be to Display as much about our family tree as possible. We will have a common place for posting family stories, pictures, recipies, family genetic abnormalities and anything else of significance. Depending how deep we go with this, I may end up protecting the site with a password for the group, each person or each family. (I don't want to. But better safe than sorry). For now I think we need to exclude date of births and social security numbers of our living family members. Keep in mind that I am new to this and will probably mess up the first few versions of the pages. The “About Us” page will be a work in progress of the family history. I will include some pictures with notes. I have the capability of adding sub pages for anyone who wants. I have no clue how long I will be able to keep this funded. (A long time I hope!) The “Events “ page will be for “save the date” information and directions and maps. The “News Articles” page will be for items we find referring to the family past. The “Photo Gallery” is for digital pictures. It will have space for memos and will be labeled so that we can refer to a picture name for downloading. “Contact Us” will be where items are submitted for storage and I’ll upload them as I have time. I hope this all works in the end. “The Helfrich Family Song” (Inspired from the World War I marching/drinking song “Glorious”!) (-Monotone-) The night that Big Bill Helfrich died; I never shall forget. The whole damn crew got stinkin’ drunk; and some ain’t sober yet. Well all they did that night, was fill my heart with fear, (My Heart With Fear!). They took the ice right off his corpse, and put it on the beer!
(-Marching Song-) (Drink Drink Drink Drink. Drink Drink Drink Drink.)
Got drunk last night, got drunk the night before, and I’m gonna get drunk tonight, like I’ve never been drunk before, For when I am drunk I'm as happy as can be; For I am a member of the Helfrich family.
And the Helfrich family is the best family; That ever came over from Old Germany. We consist of the High and the Lowland Dutch; The Rotterdam Dutch and all the other damn Dutch.
Singing Glo-ri-ous! One keg of beer for the four of us! Singing glory be to God that there are no more of us; For any one of us could drink it all alone, Damn quick!! |
